Recycle your Jeans!

Distressed denim is trending like crazy right now. But have you ever noticed that they typically cost more than a regular pair of jeans????

I did, so I decided to make my own at home by recycling an old pair of great Express jeans that I've had for years ( since middle school, can you believe it?) I was so close to throwing them out; they were stretched out with a straight fit that had not been

in style for a while. But once I ripped them, they transformed and became my new favorite pair. With denim trends ever changing, it can be difficult to keep up without constantly shopping and spending money. I initially ripped these about two years ago, but a few days ago I decided to cut about 5 inches from the bottom and cuff them to keep these jeans current with the new ankle-length trend.
